Meet Jin and Captain! Two shelter rescue kitties from the Newland Shelter in Huntington Beach. Stephanie adopted these two almost two years ago. These two are bigger than life! 

Now meet Chance! He is a 2yr old, 84lb, Pit Bull/ Great Dane mix. He was rescued by Stephanie from the Harbor Shelter in San Pedro, CA. If Stephanie wouldn't have gone to pick him up and transport him to his foster family, he would've been euthanized. Stephanie really gave this boy a "Chance!" He is now going to a forever home in San Louis Obispo! So happy for this boy! 

Now here is Stephanie with 1yr old Liberty. She too was a "red listed" (which means to be PTS or euthanized) Pit Bull mix from the Harbor Shelter in San Pedro, CA. Her life was saved because Stephanie rescued her along with Chance. Liberty was a real sweetheart as she sat in the front seat being driven to freedom and her new home. This rescue took a village with many people involved and the donations received. She will now live a long, happy and spoiled life with a wonderful family in Newport Beach. I hear she is doing very well!

Blue Springs Home cares about animals and Stephanie is highly involved with shelter dog rescues. She is loving it and having great success. We at BSH are very proud of her.

June Blues and Summer Hues

Natural colors mix so well with vintage indigo blues!

Shown here is a new collection of vintage Japanese fabric pillows.

Close up of coverlet by SDH in natural linen and cotton blend. The white coverlet is a new piece from Maestro Raphael from Italy. The top of the coverlet is linen and the reverse is a high thread cotton. Perfect blend for the upcoming summer nights.

From Bella Notte comes new fabric design called Hayden. This linen fabric duvet is shown in the color "Sea Glass." 

Our favorite knit pillows are by Tricot Naturelle.  This beautiful pillow is hand knitted and combined with vintage natural linen. Will look great on any bed or sofa.

One of our favorite lines in the store is Les Indiennes. Shown above are their fringed coverlets in the Carnation Indigo blue color. Throw this over your bed or sofa for instant drama and color. Machine wash cold water only. Hand blocked in India.

New color from Bella Notte is called "Wedgewood!" Shown here in silk velvet "Loulah," this color mixes beautifully with Indigo blues. The linen in this color looks like your favorite denim.

A note from Susan:

Sadly we have to say goodbye to our long time employee Lisa Delozier. She and her family have moved to Arizona. Even though we will miss her, we wish her all the best! Lisa was with us for 8 years, she is a part of our Blue Springs family. Shown from left to right is Renae, Lisa, Susan, Yolanda, and Jeanne. The gang all got together at Bayside Restaurant in Newport Beach for a farewell luncheon. We had a blast and great food!
